Industrialized America

The drug industry alone is vital to the economy of industrialized countries. New diseases and mental disorders are constantly being “invented” to fit the erratic behavior of society. This behavior is not centralizing to only children. In the last ten years, there has been a rash of child murders by the parent. Society will diagnose that the parent may have been depressed or on antidepressants which caused such uncontrollable acts. Why did we not hear of such events decades ago? It could be the effects of new drugs being constantly introduced to the market, produced for the purpose of capitalization. Many of the wealthy stay wealthy by investing into these drug manufacturing companies. After all, capitalism is the focus of industrialized countries.
Another reflection of an industrialized country is the lack of appreciation for advancement. With the invention of the computer, the world has rapidly changed. The invention went on to spark new or improved inventions. Some of those are recreational, others are media related. Most people have become reliant upon their cell phones, or other gadgets of communication. Children have become enthralled in the world of video games; a vast majority of then displays sex and violence. Yet it takes great knowledge of computers to design them. Video games are keeping some children from a certain level of creativity, causing them to become overweight due to lack of physical activity. In years past, children would enjoy the outdoors to network with other children, and devise new games. In turn, it exercises their critical thinking. Board games would bring families together to incorporate fun and education, such as scrabble. The world of video games is creating a society of stagnant thinkers, though it was ignited by visionaries.

Land of the Free

What worth is America's justice system, really. Everyday I see some obviously guilty thug on the news that has the luxury of a free trial. Why? If the guilt is conclusive, why waste taxes and time. I'll tell you why. America is a country of capitalism. Before justice comes the almighty dollar, founded and built upon it. The proof is in the many white-collar crimes bred in the ole red, white, and blue. now N.C. is discussing releasing mates with life sentences, which is nonsense. It is bad enough to get a stiffer sentence for drug trafficking than murder, especially if you are Black. I even feel the death penalty is to lenient with their lethal injections. We should have old-fashion court square hangings, stonings, etc. All I am saying is that America is kind of like those parents that would rather be their child's friend than a parent. Think of how the crime rate would decrease if rapers were ordered to be castrated. And I would love to be the one holding the ax. ; )
